Choose a year recap or one evening, then keep the sequence clear

A year-in-review collage and a party recap need different selections. For a year recap, choose a few moments that show change or progress. For one evening, use a lead photograph and details from the same occasion. The magazine layout supplies unequal cells and a dark starting background, not a live countdown.

A travel-year recap might begin with the strongest landscape, followed by a portrait and two details from other trips. Reorder until the lead photograph occupies the space it needs. Adding beyond the magazine pattern's six cells switches to an adaptive grid.

Choose photos that work together

Do not give every month a slot simply to fill the canvas. A smaller set of recognizable moments is often easier to read than twelve crowded thumbnails. Use similar subject scale for a chronological sequence, or make the most meaningful moment the lead. Dates and month names need to be supplied in a separate caption or application.

Check the finished image before sharing

Review the image at a reduced size before choosing your export. Bright lights can overwhelm a dark scene, while a dim portrait may disappear against the background. Try a lighter solid backdrop when it improves separation. The result is one still image; it does not include animation, music, fireworks effects or automatic posting.

Save a year recap before trying another order

Download your first arrangement before replacing pictures or changing the story. Then compare a chronological sequence with a lead-image arrangement. A year recap does not need every month to be complete: a few meaningful moments can be clearer. Keep dated originals on your device if you need to identify the sequence later.
