Compose a portrait feed image

The preset starts at a 4:5 ratio. Favor a few clear subjects over many tiny details, and keep important content away from the outer edges where another display crop may cut it off.

Arrange four event highlights into a portrait recap and preview the export at phone size before publishing.

This template is built for 3 to 9 photos. It works best for instagram, social posts, creator recaps, where the viewer needs to understand the relationship between the images quickly.

How to use this template

  1. Add JPG, PNG or WebP photographs to the editor above. The template settings are already selected.
  2. Arrange your photographs in the desired order, then adjust each crop and focal position.
  3. Check the canvas ratio, spacing and background. Adding more photos than a fixed layout holds changes it to an adaptive grid.
  4. Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, review the export dimensions, and download your collage.

Prepare a portrait post as one image

The 4:5 starting ratio gives each row more height than a square version. Use it for a few clear highlights rather than a dense photo album. Check the post preview for display cropping after exporting.

The result is one still image containing several photos. For a carousel, prepare separate images with consistent proportions. This template does not split the composition into slides or publish to Instagram.

Compare related layouts

A layout changes the arrangement. Use these alternatives when you want different emphasis or a different number of panels.

Read the photo collage guide for crop and export advice.

Review the download before sharing

Open the downloaded image at the size it will be viewed. Check the smallest panel, the edges of faces and the space around the main subject. Export size cannot restore detail lost in a small source photograph or a heavy crop.

Standard, High and Print use 1600, 2400 and 3600 pixels on the longest edge. Save the result before closing the tab. The download is a flattened image, and the preset URL does not save your photos or editing history.
