Make a fair progress comparison

Keep camera angle, framing and subject scale consistent across the two photographs. Place the earlier image first and avoid a crop that exaggerates the change.

A room renovation reads clearly when the same wall and floor boundaries line up in both panels.

How to use this template

  1. Add JPG, PNG or WebP photographs to the editor above. The template settings are already selected.
  2. Arrange your photographs in the desired order, then adjust each crop and focal position.
  3. Check the canvas ratio, spacing and background. Adding more photos than a fixed layout holds changes it to an adaptive grid.
  4. Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, review the export dimensions, and download your collage.

Keep styling secondary to the evidence

The before-and-after template separates two time points with a controlled frame. Align the same permanent features in each photograph and keep the subject at a comparable scale. Background color should not make one side appear artificially brighter.

Add date labels separately when required, or explain the sequence in the post caption. The editor does not add text overlays. Keep the source photographs available when the comparison needs to be examined beyond the collage.

Compare related layouts

A layout changes the arrangement. Use these alternatives when you want different emphasis or a different number of panels.

Read the photo collage guide for crop and export advice.

Review the download before sharing

Open the downloaded image at the size it will be viewed. Check the smallest panel, the edges of faces and the space around the main subject. Export size cannot restore detail lost in a small source photograph or a heavy crop.

Standard, High and Print use 1600, 2400 and 3600 pixels on the longest edge. Save the result before closing the tab. The download is a flattened image, and the preset URL does not save your photos or editing history.
